Service Quality and Satisfaction

 

If you are not satisfied with any contractual services received, or if you have any suggestions for improvement of any of our services, please contact the Lead Partner or, alternately contact Noreen Metcalf, the Managing Director and who is responsible for quality and is located at the registered office. We will look carefully and promptly at any issues raised and will respond back to you.

 

Invoices

 

Invoice details are set out in the Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) of contract, these T&Cs form part of the signed scope of contract. Invoices are raised at staged periods and are aligned to the scope of work. De’Leigh reserves the right to suspend work where invoices are outstanding. Any issues with invoices should be raised immediately and in writing with the Lead Partner. De’Leigh reserves the right to apply statutory interest of 8% plus the Bank of England base rate against late payment of commercial debt.

 

Insurance

 

Professional Indemnity and public liability insurance is via HISCOX: Hiscox Underwriting Ltd. 1 Great St. Helen’s London EC3A 6HX and is authorised and registered by the Finance Conduct Authority. Where particular contracts prescribe, De’Leigh will always consider increasing limit of indemnity.

De’Leigh Consultancy & Compliance has been accepted as a member of the Employers Domestic Abuse Covenant (EDAC). EDAC - Employers Domestic Abuse Covenant (edacuk.org) The EDAC initiative is supported by the UK government and the Department for Works and Pension with the aim of creating a cultural change within organisations to identify flexible and sustainable opportunities for women to achieve long term financial independence and economic security. De’Leigh has made a pledge to support women affected by abuse to be able to stay in, to enter or to re-enter the workplace. We do this in a number of different ways: Across our own literature and marketing materials, embed as good practice throughout our training and seminars and we also support and raise the profile of EDAC through Non-Executive work and networks.

 

Risk Management

 

De ’Leighs’ approach to Risk Management is straight forward with an ethos of doing the right thing, Comply or Explain. With a number of systems and processes in place which together demonstrate the approach taken and includes  Risk Management Framework, Governance Framework, Policy and Procedures. All commercial contracts include a contract risk assessment. All partners and associates are professionally qualified and /or accredited.

Through a number of non-executive roles, pro bono work, monthly donations, and ad-hoc sponsorship De’Leigh are proud to actively support the following charities: Water Aid Reg 288701. Downs Syndrome Training & Support Services Ltd. Reg 1130994.

 

Themes

 

The following cross cutting themes are embedded through service delivery, they include Inclusion and diversity De’Leigh will ensure that where there is opportunity to capture, check, challenge areas that might improve diversity and inclusion and therefore add more value to the workforce we will highlight it.


Governance and compliance De’Leigh will check and challenge, provide comply or explain approach and if we can identify areas of opportunity that might improve outcomes, share lessons learnt or share industry good practice we will highlight it. This is done through the completion of a “Project Compliance Register”.


Confidentiality and Safeguarding De’Leigh maintains a professional and personal duty of care to all things confidential except where there are concerns around the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults, or where through act or emission a criminal or civil act is or is likely to be broken. Policy and Practice

 

The following policies are in place and reviewed annually: Risk Management Framework (including consultant legal status / IR35, money  laundering, safeguarding, DPA/GDPR and confidentiality). Safeguarding, Health and Safety Policy, Equality and Diversity Policy, Confidentiality Policy, Inclusion & Wellbeing Policy and Whistleblowing Policy.

 

Complaints and Queries

 

Issues of concern or complaint should be made immediately and raised with the Lead Partner in writing. The escalation process for formalising the complaint should be made to the Managing Director Noreen Metcalf at noreen.metcalf@deleigh.co.uk

De’Leigh works to avoid complaints, however, if you feel we have not managed your complaint we will work with you and a qualified independent arbitrator/mediator.
